Fees

Building a climate of mutual trust is essential.

The attorney's fees are set at the attorney's discretion in agreement with the client.

It should be noted that these fees are determined in accordance with standard practice, based on the client’s financial situation, the complexity of the case, the time spent on it by the attorney, the attorney’s reputation, years of practice, and experience.

A lawyer who accepts a case may ask the client to make an advance payment toward the lawyer’s fees and expenses.

In some cases, payment of fees may be made in installments.

The attorney and the client determine together the billing method, based on the nature of the case (time-based billing, flat fee, retainer, etc.).
